Sing Away 2012

Arbutus Music is offering you the opportunity to enjoy your voice and develop your singing skills in relaxed and beautiful surroundings.

All sessions will be group singing with a wide range of styles and a relaxed, fun approach.  Explore your voice, extend your range and enjoy the delight of making music with others.  Whether you’re nervous about singing or you’re already an established singer, come and enjoy your voice in the company of kindred spirits in this serene and beautiful rural setting.

During these delightful days of group singing, through a carefully balanced mixture of encouragement, fun, breathing, listening, relaxation and laughter, you will be helped to get increased enjoyment from your voice and from making music with others.
Take your voice on holiday and give it a workout whilst singing both familiar and lesser-known songs and gaining plenty of useful tips and fresh ideas.

2½ days of group singing with free time to relax in the hotel or venture further afield into Hampshire

£310* (early booking rate) entitles you to

All in a beautiful, peaceful setting in the Hampshire countryside,  and in easy reach of many places of historical and cultural interest.
*Non-residential rate £190 covers lunch, tea/coffee and all singing sessions.

The residential rate is for shared accommodation.  You may book a single room for a £60 supplement. If you wish to share, you must name your sharer on the booking form. NB You may bring a non-singing sharer for the special rate of £260.

SCHEDULE

SING AWAY begins at 2.00pm on Tuesday afternoon with a welcome and introductory session. 

The sessions will be punctuated by free time to enable you to relax in the grounds, make use of the facilities or venture further afield in this delightful part of Hampshire. The beautiful cathedral city of Winchester is just 9 miles away.

The final session will conclude on Thursday afternoon with tea to set you up for your journey home.  More details on request.
